She has also recently completed advanced training in Ericksonian hypnosis, a therapeutic approach recognized for its effectiveness in psychological support. This additional skill enables her to integrate tools for stress management, motivation enhancement and improved eating habits into her patient care.<\/p>

She also had the privilege of being mentored by an endocrinologist specializing in the treatment of obesity in Toronto, and of observing various types of bariatric surgery, which sharpened her critical and global approach to the treatment of this disease.<\/p> <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Mazur directed the Family Medicine Group in the Sillery sector of Quebec City. There, she set up a multidisciplinary clinic specializing in obesity management, bringing together nutritionists, kinesiologists and psychologists. Allurion\u00ae balloons are designed for patients with a BMI* of 30 to 40, or between 27 and 30 in the presence of comorbidities**. A prior medical assessment by Dr. S\u00e9verine Mazur is required to determine eligibility for treatment.<\/p>
